In general, the other classified varieties are mid-season and late-ripening grapes due to the terroir’s features. This means the production area’s winegrowing can be carried out on non-traditional sites.

There is another extremely distinctive aspect found in most of the wineries: the ownership of the vineyards. Whether under family ownership or in cooperative associations, this makes it easier to manage wine production.
