In general, the other classified varieties are mid-season and late-ripening grapes due to the terroir\u2019s features. This means the production area\u2019s winegrowing can be carried out on non-traditional sites.<\/p>\n

          Three out of four registered wineries are engaged in all three key processes of production, ageing and packaging in the value chain, and only a small number of them perform these processes separately or in isolation.<\/p>\n

          There is another extremely distinctive aspect found in most of the wineries: the ownership of the vineyards.
